Day 4, February 4th, at Sea

Another sea day; another day to familiarize ourselves with the ship.  The day was sunny, breezy and warm.  A perfect winter get-away.  No rush to do anything.  I enrolled in a painting class where we were instructed in drip painting on glass.  The artist, W. Andre Allen, has some of his work displayed on the ship.  He is on board to teach would-be artists how to create a “work of art” that we can hang on a wall or place on a table.

Here is a photo of Andre’s studio before the students arrived:

We sat out on deck soaking up the sun and a fair amount of Sauvignon Blanc.  Then we took a few more photos of the ship.

For the second time, we had dinner in Red Ginger.  Again, it was excellent; service, wine, dessert all excellent.

In the mood for a show, stop by the Riviera Lounge.  Tonight’s entertainer was an attractive young woman who’s show was described as “The Sassy Sounds of Dynamic Trumpeter & Vocalist, Nicole Sasser.”

Tomorrow we arrive in Tortola.  And now it’s off to bed.

Enjoyed the pictorial journal very much. My wiife and I will be sailing on the Riviera later this March so your presentation was most appreciated. Could you please share what journal app you use to capture your various travels? Thanks.
