Sainte-Chapelle, on the Ile De La Cite, has been liken to “a gateway to heaven.” The chapel was built in 1248 by Louis IX to house Christ’s crown of thorns. The chapel is extraordinary and everything is truly mesmerizing.
We visited Paris in November 2014. Paris is exciting, beautiful and full of wonderful sites. Notre-Dame is magnetic and pulls you into its aura.

A visit to Basilica of Sacre-Coeur, in the heart of Montmartre, is exciting. Never know who you will bump into. Street actors, painters, lots of people; even dancers at Moulin Rouge.
Art and artists are everywhere in Paris. A peek over the shoulder reveals a work on the verge of completion, soon to be offered to an admiring tourist.
