Weather, what can I say but lousy, overcast at best with one exception, February 4th. Today was sunny and warm and breezy. After a light lunch, with the mandatory glass of wine (that’s right, Captain’s orders that all lunch comes with wine and the servers are told that we couldn’t leave the restaurant until all was consumed), we strolled over to Amber Cove on Grand Turk.

The place was extremely clean and well maintained. Also, very photogenic. Here are a couple of shots I took as we were walking along the pier into the Cove.

And, one brave soul testing the waters.

An interesting fact, or so I think, Amber Cove is actually a place known as Le Espanola according to Apple Maps. But, as the bards once said, “what’s in a name?”
There is a nice shopping center just off the pier. Now you don’t have to go into town (wherever that is) to spend your money. Have a look.

I thought this was a fun shot. Something different to take home.

We came upon a Heart of Flamingos where a kind soul offered to take our photo.

Here are a couple of other shots of the area. All in all, it was a very nice port of call.

And last but not least. Don’t miss the fish in the water.

Good afternoon Amber Cove. Back to the ship for another mandatory glass of wine or something stronger.
