Following our visit to the Monastery we made a brief stop in a little village, the primary industry of which was metal working. It was identified in our materials as a silversmith village but they were actually working in some other base metal.
We started with a ride on a tuk tuk from our bus stop into the village. Here is a shot as we started out and a couple of photos taken along the way depicting village life.

Then, we were at the village watching a demonstration of the art of metal working.

A finished product; they like elephants which symbolize wisdom, strength and good fortune. They have a way to convert the copper looking metal to appearing as if the product is silver.

As usual, the little shop was doing a bang-up business.

While others were shopping, I nosed around the little community and took a couple of additional shots in the village.

Last, but certainly not least, a photo of a young boy who was accompanying his father, our tuk tuk driver, as we made our way back to transportation and the Viking Saigon.
